Cancelling

You can cancel this order yourself from My Orders for up to 24 hours after placing it, as long as it has not been dispatched. If you paid online, the money goes back to the account it came from.

Returning

If it arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange collection.

The wooden frame

• Dust regularly with a soft, dry cotton or microfibre cloth.
• Wipe spills straight away and dry the surface. Do not let water stand on the wood.
• Keep the sofa out of direct sunlight and away from heaters and air-conditioner outlets.
• Do not use detergents, thinner, bleach or abrasive pads on the polish.
• Lift the sofa to move it - do not drag it by the arms.
• Re-polish when the shine dulls, usually every two to three years.

Cushions and fabric

• Vacuum or brush the cushions weekly to keep dust out of the fabric.
• Turn and swap the cushions every few weeks so they wear evenly and keep their shape.
• Blot spills at once with a clean dry cloth. Do not rub.
• Spot-clean with mild soap and very little water, and let it dry in the shade.
• Keep cushions out of strong sunlight, which fades the fabric.

This product is covered against manufacturing defects in workmanship and joinery for the warranty period stated in its specifications and on your invoice.

What is covered

• Loose or failed joints caused by faulty workmanship.
• Structural defects in the frame under normal household use.

What is not covered

• Natural variation in grain, colour and knots, and the small seasonal movement all solid wood shows.
• Normal wear, scratches, dents and fading of the polish over time.
• Damage from water, damp, direct sunlight, heat, pests, misuse, accidents, overloading or commercial use.
• Repairs or alterations carried out by anyone other than us.
• Cushions, fabric, glass, mirrors and hardware beyond their own supplier cover.

How to claim

Contact us with your order number and clear photographs of the problem. We will inspect it and, where the claim is valid, repair the piece or replace the affected part.

• Most of our furniture is delivered fully assembled and ready to use.
• Larger pieces - beds, wardrobes and dining tables - may travel in sections so they pass through doorways and stairwells, and are put together in your room.
• Where assembly is needed, our team carries it out on request. Please confirm this when you place the order.
• Tell us in advance about stairs, lifts, narrow doors or upper floors, so the right people and tools are sent.
• Please keep the room clear on the day of delivery.

• Made to order. Most pieces are made after you order. The delivery estimate shown at checkout is our best estimate, not a guaranteed date.
• Prices. The price shown is for the product as described. Taxes and delivery are shown separately at checkout where they apply.
• Delivery. The delivery charge depends on your location and the size of the order. See our Shipping Policy.
• Cancellation and returns. These follow our Refund Policy. Items made or cut to your size cannot be cancelled once work has started.
• Inspection. Please check the product at delivery and tell us about any transit damage within 48 hours, with photographs.
• Custom work. Changes to size, polish or design are confirmed in writing before work begins and may change the price and the delivery time.

• Wood is a natural material. Grain, colour, texture and knots differ from piece to piece, so what you receive will not be identical to the photographs.
• Colours on screen are indicative. Polish shades look different under different lighting and on different screens.
• Measurements are approximate. Handmade furniture can vary slightly from the stated size.
• Solid wood moves with the seasons. Small gaps or hairline lines appearing and closing through the year are normal and are not a defect.
• Props, cushions, mattresses and accessories shown in photographs are not included unless the product description says so.
